Recovering from the damage caused by the August 14 earthquake that hit the southern coast of Haiti will take many years. The quake has directly impacted an estimated 800,000 people, including 5,000 Nazarenes who are currently homeless and in need of food, medicine, shelter, and other aid.

In two Nazarene districts, Grand’Anse and Sud, 15 churches were destroyed. Keep scrolling to see some images from these districts, taken as the damage was initially assessed and early shipments of shelters arrived.
